Today's theme is Depth of field, which is a photography technique which helps show a clear focus point, as the camera focuses on an object and blurs the background around it. I chose to take photos of flowers along my road as I always admire them whilst out on my walk. I chose to take photos of flowers varying in size as the camera easily focused on a small flower creating a lot of background space and also flowers that were in a bush focusing on a certain area of flowers creating a nice bunch. I edited these by putting different filters to exaggerate the colours. My inspiration for the shoot was a poem by Carol Brown 'Beauty in nature, Flowers blooms so succulent, Hummingbirds flutter.'
