I started with a shoot expressing friendship and acceptance. I used procreate and adobe photoshop to enhance this images and create a young feminine touch to these images similar to my chosen photographer Agata popieszynska

As this project progresses it become harder to shoot the bonds between loved ones, so i decided to use this to my advantage in this project and show how we are working around to still communicate and see loved ones. Such as visiting my grandparents but keep a safe distance down the drive away.

Once restriction had lifted slightly i decided to do a shoot based inside my grandparents house showing them alone and the house quiet, when before covid it was a a busy family meeting place for cousins and distance family to see each other. I wanted to bring in my designing skills and incorporate a 70s wallpaper to show the house still contains old memories of generations growing up through the years.

For this shoot I wanted to show the lonely struggle of being a teenager during these times. I wanted to show a different perspective as i had already focused on the older generation of my grandparents. With restrictions i was unable to shoot a friend for this, but i felt with me being alone it would emulate the best emotions. I chose to home in on the feelings of being trapped in your room with only a device that you feel more and more attached as lockdown goes on.

For this shoot i decided to go out and document the ghost town streets that were once busy. I chose to shoot the distanced queues and the cold unfriendly aura as everyone keeps to them themselves to stay safe. 

My final shoot was to go full circle with this bonds project and end with a shoot of my friends being reunited. Showing being able to finally show our love through physical touch and being close together again.

i wanted to create a similar shoot at the beginning to show that through all of this we still have the strong bonds with the ones that we truly love and connect with.
